History of the WSO

For those members and friends of the WSO who have not yet bought a copy, the history of the orchestra written by Henry Rees is still available. The book runs to almost 100 pages and is illustrated with photos telling the story of the orchestra from its formation by Stanley Vann in 1940. It gives a fascinating insight to the orchestra's development and the many highlights over the years.
